Settings

To edit Text:

  • After adding the element, double-click on the text box or select the Edit button – the first icon from the element's menu.
  • The text editor offers several options for formatting:
    • Align left - change the direction of the text to the left.
    • Align centre – move the text to the centre.
    • Align right - change the direction of the text to the right.
    • Justify – make your text look professional by spacing out so that the first word aligns with the left margin and the last word with the right margin.
    • Bullets and numbering – add bullets and numbering to your text by clicking on Bullet and Numbered list accordingly.
    • Increase and Decrease Indent – add tabs or shift them to the left of the margin.
    • Link – by clicking on the Link to icon you can either insert a link or unlink one that already exists.

Text editor

To insert a link in a text:

  • Add text then click on Edit from the text's menu (the first icon from left to right).
  • Highlight the text you want to link and click on Insert/edit link.
  • Then a pop-up will appear with the following details to be added:
    • URL - paste the URL of the link.
    • Text to display – here you can type the text block that you want to link, in other case it will be filled in automatically for your once you highlight the text block from the content beforehand.
    • Title – supplement your link with an additional text that appears when you mouse over it.
    • Target – select None if you want the link to open in the Same window or New window if you want the link to open in a new window.
    • Click OK to save the changes when you are done.

  • Right to left – change the direction of the text to the left or right.
  • Text color – click on text color to change the color of your text.
  • Font family - highlight the text you want and choose a font; select one of your choice from the drop-down menu.
  • Headings – you can create headings for your paragraphs using the build-in styles.
  • Font size – highlight the text and change the font size; select the size.
  • Line spacing – change the spacing between your lines by highlighting them and selecting the spacing amount.
  • B, I, U – bold, italic, underline – make your content stand out with different styles of text.

To style text:

  • Click on the style icon. The options are:
    • Text shadow

Insert table

To create a table on your site:

  • 1. Add a text element.
  • 2. Double click inside the element to start writing.
  • 3. Right click with your mouse inside text element where you want your table to be positioned.
  • 4. Click on Insert table and select the number of rows and columns you wish for your table.
  • 5. Then the table appear inside the text element – just extend it by dragging the corners.

In addition, you can customize the cells of your table. The customizing options for cells are:

1. Cell properties:

  • Width - you can specify the width of the cell in pixels or percent to be bigger or smaller if you wish.
  • Height - you can specify the height of the cell in pixels or percent.
  • Cell type – the text in the cells can be grouped into header or body text.
  • Scope – it identifies a way to associate header cells and data cells in a table. The scope's values are:
    • row – specifies that the cell is a header for a row.
    • col – specifies that the cell is a header for a column.
    • row group – specifies that the cell is a header for a group of rows.
    • column group – specifies that the cell is a header for a group of columns.
  • H Align – horizontal alignment specifies the horizontal alignment of the content in the cell. Select the cells you want to align and choose between left, center and right alignment.
  • V Align – vertical alignment specifies the horizontal alignment of the content in the cell. Select the cells you want to align and choose between top, middle and bottom alignment.

2. Merge cells – you can combine two or more cells in the same row or column into a single cell. For example, you can merge several cells horizontally to create a table heading that refers to several columns.

3. Split cells – you can split back a cell that you have merged.

The customizing options for the rows in the table are:

1. Insert row before – add a row before another when you select the row and click this option.

2. Insert row after - add a row after another when you select a row and click on this option.

3. Delete row – remove a row in a cell when you select a cell and click on this option.

4. Row properties:

  • Row type - create a header, body or footer row into the table by selecting any of the options accordingly – header, body or footer.
  • Alignment – align the rows together with left,center and right alignment.
  • Height – set a height for the rows selected in pixels or percent.

5. Cut row – you can cut one or multiple rows within a table.

6. Copy row – copy one or multiple rows within a table.

7. Paste row before – the copied or cut rows will reappear before the cells where you chose to paste them.

8. Paste row after - the copied or cut rows will reappear after the cells where you chose to paste them.

The customizing options for the columns in the table are:

1. Insert column before – select a column and choose this option to insert a column before another.

2. Insert column after - select a column and choose this option to insert a column after another.

3. Delete column – choose this option to delete the entire column.

To delete the whole table select Delete table.
