Setting up your store

You can create your own online store with Oxxy. The eCommerce module lets you sell products directly from your website. You can manage products, orders, shipping, taxes and much more in an effective way. The eCommerce module is available for every new and existing Еcommerce subscription. You can set up your store for free and upgrade your subscription when you are ready to go live and start selling.

Enabling

To enable the eCommerce module:

  • Click on the Shopping Cart Icon located in the menu in the top right corner. Then click on Create store. Alternatively, you can select the eCommerce from the elements’ menu and again select Create store. After you enable your store, you can use the eCommerce icon on the right menu to access the eCommerce dashboard and manage your store. Keep in mind that every store is attached to a different website. If you have more than one website and want to create store for each of them, you need to set up the eCommerce individually for every website.

After you enable your store, you can use the eCommerce icon on the right menu to access the eCommerce dashboard and manage your store.

Enabling the eCommerce module automatically adds four new pages to your website:

  • A shop page, containing your product gallery
  • A detailed product page
  • Shopping cart page
  • Thank you page

Of these three, only the shop page is visible in the menu.

Dashboard overview

The dashboard is the main operating center of your online store. You can use it to manage products set up taxes and delivery method, connect payment methods, manage your orders and set up your general information.

You can access your dashboard by clicking the ecommerce icon in the upper left corner of the editor.

In the dashboard you will find the following tabs and menus:

  • Store Drop down

    Use the dropdown menu in the dashboard between different stores that are associated with your account. By default the dashboard will open the store that is attached to the current site you are working on.

  • Products tab

    Use this tab to add new products to your store and manage the existing ones. Click here to learn more about managing products.

  • Collections

    Use this tab to organize your products into different collections. To learn more about the collections, click here.

  • Orders

    From this tab you can view and manage the orders of your store. Click here to learn more about your store orders.

  • Payments

    From here you can set up payments methods that will let your customers purchase from your store. Click here to learn more about the payment methods we provide.

  • Shipping and tax

    Use this tab to set up shipping and tax rules for the regions that you ship to. Click here to learn more about shipping and tax.

  • Store Settings
